A visit to the hospital
can be a very frightening experience for children. Lourdes
recognizes the sensitivity of this situation and responds with
compassion and caring.
A parent is allowed to stay with the child in the room to ease
the child's fear and ease the parents' anxieties.
To ensure your child's comfort during their stay at Lourdes, a
variety of special touches designed especially for our younger
patients are available. Each bed has a personal TV. A
video game cart is available for the little gamer.
The pediatric unit has a
playroom with toys for children of all ages. Videos, magazines,
puzzles, and books are available.
