Four Daughters of Charity opened the doors of Lourdes Hospital
on October 25, 1925. Since that time, supported by a dedicated
medical staff and supportive local community, Lourdes has continued
its' growth. I often jokingly remark that a wall is either going up
or coming down at Lourdes - constantly! Indeed, motivated to better
serve the healthcare needs of the local community, we willingly
begin, once again, to build for our future. This latest major
project expands our opportunity to serve our outpatients more
efficiently and effectively. In addition, it ensures jobs for a
sizeable number of our citizens and results in a facility where we
provide healthcare that is safe, that works and that leaves no one
behind. |
