In September 2011, Lourdes Hospital was protected from rising floodwaters by a newly erected floodwall. Floodwaters rose to within 3 feet of the top of the wall. The addition of the floodwall was part of Lourdes' Mission 2012 Project.The floodwall was completed in late 2010.
